The weather was again kind on the whole to members, friends and family who joined together for another successful summer barbeque of good food, good wine and great company. This is an informal event where we bring our own food and wine and spend a pleasant afternoon in conversation and bomhomie.

Yet another very successful Summer BBQ was enjoyed by members, family and friends, this time courtesy of John Robins and Sarah Farquhar at their home at Wester Lovat, looking out across the Beauly Firth towards Ben Wyvis.

A Scottish Delegation attended the 49th Confrérie Chapitre held in Rouen in November where Connetable Nicol Manson, Narrateur Ormond Smith and Maitre du Palais Christina Cameron were joined by three new inductees, Mike and Jacquie Grantham and Dr Caroline Duncan, who had opted for induction in Rouen having been unable to attend our own Chapitre in Inverness in May.

Another successful Friends and Family Barbeque took place recently in the garden of Heather and James Sheerin and a fine afternoon was had by all. Connétable Nicol introduced Giampiero Giacomel who had kindly laid on a tasting of some of his family’s wines from The Veneto in Italy.
